Compound word designating here the fruitful association of university theory with artistic and cultural practice. This scientific approach is related to the analysis of an intervention carried out by the researcher. It is research at once applied, intertwined, implicated, and engaged. It is applied to the action of a subject, intertwined in the analyst's life, implicated by the latter's presence, and engaged in the production of an intervention. Research-action is equally an action of research and research of action.
